February 1, 2016

With the title of “Face2Gene Academy: Revue d’un nouvel outil en ligne de formation à la Dysmorphologie basé sur la communauté” this poster written by Prof. Lina Basel-Vanagaite is presented at the Annual French Meeting of Human Genetics in Lyon, France.
The goal of this computer-aided, dysmorphology training tool is to train and test residents and practicing clinicians, specializing in genetics with the skills of dysmorphology. Types of questions include syndrome identification by typical dysmorphic features and by full facial photos as well as identifying dysmorphic features in photos. “Dysmorphology training is a real challenge. It is this author’s belief that this training tool will play a key role in the training of the next generation of medical geneticists.” concludes Prof. Basel.
